The New York Jets' tight end depth took a hit on Sunday night as tight end Josh Baker suffered a knee injury that will potentially end his season. Baker was signed from the practice squad last season and was hoping to stick as a backup.
Jets' TE Josh Baker is believed to have a torn ACL, which would sideline him for the season. He's having a MRI now to confirm.

In 11 games last season, Baker caught three passes for 27 yards and a touchdown. He is known more for his blocking ability than he is for his receiving.
He wasn't the only Jets tight end to leave Sunday's game early. Dustin Keller departed early after injuring his hamstring and his status for the team's Week 1 game is up in the air.
