Stay connected with SB Nation

The Buffalo Bills have made their required cuts to get down to the 75-player roster limit. To get their active roster to 75, the Bills cut nine players on Sunday and also placed tight end Mike Caussin on the physically unable to perform list.

The nine players cut by Buffalo are:

WR David Clowney

WR Derek Session

TE Fendi Onobun

G Jake Vermiglio

DE Sean Ferguson

DT Jay Ross

LB Danny Batten

CB Prince Miller

S Nick Sukay

Additionally, Buffalo made a pair of moves on Monday, releasing quarterback Vince Young (the No. 3 overall pick in 2006), and making a trade for quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

Buffalo is coming off of a 38-7 preseason loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday. The Bills have one more preseason game, Thursday against the Lions before they kick off the 2012 regular season on September 9, on the road against the New York Jets.
