The Miami Dolphins are still evaluating their options at wide receiver, and according to the Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly, the team is working out Donte Stallworth on Thursday. Stallworth is one of several receivers reportedly trying out for the Dolphins.
Stallworth spent the 2011 season with the Washington Redskins, where he appeared in 11 games and made 22 receptions for 309 yards and two touchdowns. The nine-year NFL veteran has 320 career receptions for 4,774 yards and 34 touchdowns.
The Dolphins were hoping to get some help from Chad Johnson in 2012, but the team decided to cut ties with Johnson after the veteran receiver was arrested on domestic violence charges.
Miami begins the regular season against Houston on Sept. 9.
