The Houston Texans 28-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Friday night came at a cost as the Texans lost backup left tackle Rashad Butler. Butler left the game late in the first half and did not return to the game.
Head coach Gary Kubiak said that the injury "does not look good" after an early look at Butler's elbow, and the Houston Chronicle's John McClain first indicated that Butler could possibly miss the entire season.
Now it is being reported by Kubiak that Butler will in fact miss the entire 2012 season:
Kubiak says T Rashad Butler tore his triceps muscle tonight and will be out for the season.

Butler had spent the past three seasons with the Texans and saw time in 34 games during that time. He was expected to see time at left tackle this season.
