The Green Bay Packers have trimmed their roster down to the required 53 players, in the process cutting 18 players from the team. Here is a list of the released players:
T Shea Allard, WR Diondre Borel, TE Brandon Bostick, QB B.J. Coleman, FB Nic Cooper, T Andrew Datko, C/G Tommie Draheim, C/G Sampson Genus, WR Curenski Gilleylen, WR Tori Gurley, DE Lawrence Guy, S Anthony Levine, CB Otis Merrill, WR Dale Moss, DT Daniel Muir, RB Marc Tyler, G Greg Van Roten and G/T Reggie Wells.
The Packers also announced that they moved tackle Derek Sherrod to the PUP list. Sherrod, a 2011 first round pick, is recovering from a broken leg that he suffered on Dec. 18, but he will be eligible to return at the halfway point of the season.
The team also placed linebacker Vic So'oto on injured reserve.
