Titans Roster Cuts: 16 Players Cut, 5 Sent To IR
The Tennessee Titans have made their cuts to bring their roster from 75 men to 53. The list comes courtesy of SB Nation Titans blog Music City Miracle, who were surprised to see defensive tackle Zach Clayton on the list of cuts. Clayton had earned praise from coaches in camp and picked up a sack in the Titans' preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Safety Aaron Francisco also surprised some, as he had looked good on special teams.
Additionally, the following players were waived:

CB Chris Hawkins
OL Michael Jasper
DT Lamar Divens
DE Malcom Sheppard
S Tracy Wilson
OL Kyle DeVan
TE Cameron Graham
WR James Kirkendoll
WR Michael Preston
OL Chris Morris
WR D.J. Woods
TE Brandon Barden
WR Devin Aguilar
In addition to the above, the Titans put the following players on Injured Reserve:
DE Dave Ball
G Ryan Durrand
DE/DT Leger Douzable
LB Kevin Malast
CB Terrence Wheatley (injury settlement)
