The Saints and Cardinals will kick off the 2012 NFL preseason with the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday.
While most NFL teams won't begin preseason play for another week, the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints will kick off the 2012 NFL preseason Sunday with the Hall of Fame Game.
The two teams will play Sunday night at Fawcett Stadium on the site of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. The game will cap off Hall of Fame weekend that will see six new players, including former Saints offensive lineman Willie Roaf, inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The game itself usually doesn't have much intrigue, but this year may be a little different. This will be the first time the Saints have taken the field since being punished for the bounty scandal this offseason.
The game is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast nationally on the NFL Network.
