The Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback wasn't particularly impressive in his debut on Sunday. Andrew Luck's statline involved 300 passing yards and a decent 6.9 yards per pass attempt, but he only completed about half his passes and threw three interceptions. SB Nation's Stampede Blue doesn't see any reason to worry at this point though:
So yes, Andrew Luck struggled some today. But I'm not concerned about the rookie. Some may have had much higher expectations of Luck than are realistic - including myself. But this kid will be fine. He showed promise today as well. The Colts today played one of the best teams they will all season.

With regards to Andrew Luck, it figures that the Colts would come out and struggle in their opening game. Chicago's defense is historically one of the best in the NFL, and their experience is tough to deal with off the bat for any rookie, even a quarterback as skilled as Luck. He just needs time to develop and grow with a team that is just as inexperienced and raw as he is. They should be fine once he gets his feet wet with easier foes.
