Jaguars Vs. Vikings, Week 1: Minnesota's Reaction To Crazy Season Opener

The match-up between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings may have been the most exciting game of Week 1. It was chock full of story lines: a showdown of sophomore quarterbacks, two scores with less than one minute remaining, overtime and a fearless rookie kicker. In the end, the Vikings were victorious in overtime, 26-23.

Ted Glover of SB Nation's Minnesota Vikings blog, the Daily Norseman, reacted with nostalgia and pure jubilation.

Jack Buck lives in the hearts and minds of die hard Twins fans everywhere, as he called the memorable 1991 World Series, and had some of the most memorable moments behind the mic in baseball history. He also called that dramatic Kirk Gibson home run in 1988, when he uttered his famous "I don't believe what I just saw!" line.

That's the only thing I could think of when Walsh hit that game tying field goal on the heels of the near repeat of so many of last year's games.

I don't believe what I just saw.
