Pierre Garcon Injury: Missed Practice For Redskins WR

Stay connected with SB Nation

Pierre Garcon's injured foot kept the Washington Redskins wide receiver out of practice today, Rich Tandler of the Real Redskins reports. The Redskins' No. 1 option at wideout, who suffered the injury in the team's season-opening 40-32 victory over the New Orleans Saints, was limited to just stretching and light jogging during Wednesday's preparation for Sunday's contest against the St. Louis Rams (4:05 p.m. ET on FOX).

"We’ll see how he is tomorrow," is all Shanahan would say when asked about Garçon, who led the Redskins in receiving with 109 yards and a score. He was injured on his 88-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter.

According to Tandler, Garcon did not speak to reporters after practice and has yet to talk about his injury since Sunday. At the time, he seemed confident that he would play against St. Louis.
