The San Francisco 49ers will head home to take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday night. The 49ers are 7-point favorites, and OddsShark has set the over/under for the game at 46.

The 49ers are coming off an opening weekend that saw them defeat the Green Bay Packers by a score of 30-22. The defense was very impressive against the explosive Green Bay offense, allowing only 324 total yards. They ran the ball very well against the Packers, amassing 186 yards on the ground. Detroit also won their opener, defeating the Rams, 27-23. Matthew Stafford piled up the yards in the first contest of the season with 355, but he also threw three interceptions on the day. Calvin Johnson was his favorite target with six catches for 111 yards. The Lions' defense was impressive, holding the Rams to just 251 yards of total offense. They escaped the first week without any major injuries.
