Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon will miss Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams with a foot injury suffered against the Saints in Week 1, according to the Rams' official twitter account. Garcon will be replaced in the lineup by rookie Aldrick Robinson, who caught four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in his debut last Sunday.
Garcon was injured while running out an 88-yard touchdown catch from rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. He had four catches for 109 yards and that score before leaving with the injury. Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan had said earlier in the week that the wide receiver's status was a matter of "pain tolerance."
The fifth-year wideout came over from the Indianapolis Colts during the offseason.
The Redskins face the Rams at 4:05 ET in the Edward Jones Dome.
