Injuries are starting to pile up for the Philadelphia Eagles. After losing a pair of offensive linemen, the Eagles lost wide receiver Jeremy Maclin in the third quarter of a physical matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Maclin went out to block for tight end Brent Celek and was leveled on the play, sending him to the ground and the training staff out to check on him.
Eagles' trainers got Maclin to the sidelines. He was then seen being carted off the field, lying flat on his back for the ride to the locker room. Details on Maclin's injury were not available, but the sight of him being carted off the field does not bode well for his availability through the rest of the game. Maclin had been dealing with a hip injury prior to this game.
Maclin caught a 23-yard touchdown from Michael Vick earlier in the quarter, a play that will certainly show up on a few highlight reels this week.
