The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially listed safety Troy Polamalu and linebacker James Harrison as inactive for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Polamalu and Harrison were questionable coming into Sunday's game that is set to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET in Pittsburgh. Polamalu is recovering from a calf strain while Harrison underwent a procedure on his knee. Neither of the two Steeler veterans practiced this week.
Polamalu is likely going to be back before Harrison, and both he and head coach Mike Tomlin were optimistic with his recovery. On the other hand, Harrison could be out until early October.
The loss of the two defensive leaders leaves Pittsburgh without 19 combined years of experience in Dick LeBeau's defense.
