Jeremy Maclin Injury: Eagles WR Returns To Game

Stay connected with SB Nation

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin returned to the game after leaving earlier in the third quarter against the Baltimore Ravens. His return comes as a mild surprise for the Eagles, who watched him get carted off the field near the start of the third quarter.

Maclin was leveled by a Ravens defender as he tried to block for tight end Brent Celek. He was unable to get up, and the training staff had to help him off the field. Later, he left for the locker room laying down on his back while the cart carried him away.

The Eagles and Ravens are tied 17-17 at the start of the fourth quarter. Maclin has one catch, but it was a productive one, a 23-yard touchdown catch from Michael Vick.

Injuries have been a problem for the Eagles in this game. Center Jason Kelce left the game earlier and did not return.
