Like a child's shattered dreams, it's hard to watch the moment in which anyone loses their innocence. Up until this point, Robert Griffin III's NFL life consisted of ease, memes and touchdowns. Thanks to Cortland Finnegan, he just learned that being a pro isn't as easy as it appeared early on in his career.
Should RG3 have picked up on Finnegan lurking? Sure. Should have he tried an off-balance pass while lunging away from the defender? No way, no how. However, if you're a Skins fan looking for solace, you can at least see that the QB was a victim of over-confidence, not of being clueless.
