Over the last two weeks, linebacker Sean Lee has been the NFL's golden child. The heady, no-nonsense linebacker has been interviewed by every outlet, and touted as the next 'great' linebacker– heck, defensive coordinator Rob Ryan called him the best inside linebacker in the league.
Golden Tate took exception. After all, he's been Golden since birth. So he channeled all of that anger into a Napoleon Complex delivered through the tip of his helmet.
In a hit that looks like it came straight out of a drivers ed movie, Lee was laid out with the hit of the day.
Mike Pereira is not amused
The hit on Lee is an illegal blindside block. Lee is considered defenseless, which means you can't lower your head & hit in head/neck area.
