Michael Vick engineered a second-straight fourth-quarter comeback to give the Philadelphia Eagles a 24-23 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, and this time without the unsavory caveat of tossing four picks like he did in Week 1.
Vick starred for the Eagles and has their fans feeling good at 2-0, as Jason Brewer of Bleeding Green Nation wrote in his post-game recap.
As we've heard time and time again though, QBs are really judged in the clutch and Michael Vick has delivered in a big way for the second straight week. And this wasn't against the Browns either, this was the Ravens, a legit Super Bowl contender and one of the best defenses in the NFL.
The 17-16 win over the Cleveland Browns in Philadelphia's first game had many wondering if they'd overrated the Eagles, even if they came away with the win. The margin of victory was the same Week 2, but the result seems so much different after downing a quality opponent behind a strong - if turnover-prone - offensive performance.
