Wide receiver Greg Jennings will be on the field on Monday night when the Green Bay Packers visit the Seattle Seahawks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jennings has been dealing with a groin injury that forced him to miss Green Bay's victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 2.
Jennings appeared in Green Bay's Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, catching five balls for 34 yards. After not missing a single game for three seasons between 2008 and 2010, Jennings missed Green Bay's final two games in 2011 with an unrelated injury before returning for the team's second round playoff loss to the New York Giants.
In 2011, Jennings caught 67 passes for 949 yards and nine touchdowns, but has been usurped by Jordy Nelson as Green Bay's No. 1 receiver.

Packers starting wide receiver Greg Jennings was a limited participant in practice Tuesday afternoon, as Green Bay prepares to host the Seattle Seahawks Monday night. Jennings missed the Packers' Week 2 23-10 win over NFC North rival Chicago with a groin injury suffered against San Francisco in Week 1 on Sept. 9.
Running back James Starks is also expected to return to practice this week. Starks has been dealing with a turf toe injury sustained against San Diego in a preseason game Aug. 9.
Cedric Benson has been carrying the backfield load for Green Bay in Starks' absence. Packers head coach Mike McCarthy had this to say about Starks' return Tuesday afternoon:
Everybody on our football team has a role. It’ll be good to get him back out there, but turf toe is an injury, I don’t think you just jump up out of bed one day and you’re OK. There will be some transition time for him to come back. As far as his role, that’s really determined during the week. Our running back position is probably as competitive as its ever been since I’ve been here. I feel really good about that group, top to bottom.
Without Jennings, Jordy Nelson was Green Bay's leading wide receiver last Thursday, catching six balls for 84 yards. Benson was the second-leading receiver, with 35 yards out of the backfield.

The Green Bay Packers have released their list of inactives for Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bears, and Greg Jennings is included, as he'll sit out the Week 2 contest with a groin injury.
Also sitting out will be running back James Starks, who is dealing with a case of turf toe. However, he could be "part of the plan" next week, according to head coach Mike McCarthy (via Packers beat writer Tyler Dunne).
In addition to Jennings and Starks, the Packers will be without WR Jarrett Boykin, S Sean Richardson, DB Davon House, LB Terrell Manning and DE C.J. Wilson.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET from Lambeau Field.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings has been listed as inactive for Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bears, according to NFL.com's inactives report.
Jennings was listed as doubtful prior to the game, though he still held out hope that he would play. However, the Packers have decided to keep him out, after the star receiver was injured in the Packers' Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Jennings was mostly held in check last Sunday, as he caught five balls for just 34 yards.
Donald Driver will likely get the majority of Jennings' reps, as the veteran receiver replaced Jennings last week following the injury.
