The Atlanta Falcons are a 3 point road underdog as they take on the San Diego Chargers Sunday.
After defeating the Denver Broncos 27-21 and covering their three-point spread on Monday night, the Atlanta Falcons are a three point underdog to the San Diego Chargers in a Week 3 battle.
San Diego opened up as a 1 1/2 point favorite over the Falcons, but the early money has leaned heavily towards the Chargers, moving the line to its present state. Both teams are undefeated so far this season, but the Chargers have had the better defense so far this year, giving up just 41 yards rushing and 12 points a game. The Falcons defense on the other hand has given up 22.5 points a game.
The total has moved significantly this week, going from 49 points to 47.5 even though both teams average over 30 points a game. Bettors might think that the Chargers stout defense, plus the Falcons traveling across the country might slow down Matt Ryan and the Atlanta offense.
