Darrelle Revis' Chances Of Playing Week 3 Increase

Stay connected with SB Nation

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis was cleared for contact stemming from his Week 1 concussion against the Buffalo Bills. Revis will fully participate in the Jets' practice on Thursday, according to Manish Mehta. There is no word on his status for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, but the news is encouraging.

Revis missed the team's 27-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. He was cleared for physical activity last Wednesday, but did not improve enough to be cleared for contact prior to the Jets' game against the Steelers.

The Jets will play the Dolphins on Sunday at Sun Life Stadium. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
