Cam Newton Is Up And In

Cam Newton put the Panthers on the scoreboard for the first time on Thursday night with his second rushing touchdown of the season. At the goal line, on third-and-one in the third quarter, Newton leaped over the pile and broke the plane of the end zone.

The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year now has 16 career rushing touchdowns.

Newton's touchdown made it 23-7 with just enough time left to make it interesting. However, the Giants added another field goal to go up 26-7 on the next possession.
