The Houston Texans are favored by the experts to defeat the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
The Denver Broncos (1-1) and the Houston Texans (2-0) square off on Sunday in what is expected to be a close matchup between two of the top teams in the AFC.
The Broncos are coming off a tough 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football, with Peyton Manning throwing three interceptions in the first quarter in what was a wholly sloppy affair for the Broncos offense.
The Texans, meanwhile, have dominated two rather easy opponents in Miami and Jacksonville. The Houston defense has allowed just 17 points total in the two games, with the Texans offense looking solid and dangerous with a growing confidence under quarterback Matt Schaub.
Houston is listed as mere one-point favorites heading into the game, yet ESPN is expecting the Texans to come out on top -- for the most part. Nine of the 12 experts have picked the Texans to defeat the Broncos on Sunday.
CBS Sports, meanwhile, has six of nine experts picking the Texans over the Broncos.
Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET.
