Jeremy Maclin has officially been ruled out of Sunday's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to head coach Andy Reid.

Maclin has been battling a hip injury that limited his availability in practice this week. The 24-year-old wideout was seen without a helmet or shell prior to Friday's practice, which was an indication that the injury was still bothering him.

Originally sustained in the Eagles' season opener against the Cleveland Browns, Maclin was able to play against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2 but is believed to have re-aggravated the injury in the process.

Maclin has recorded eight receptions for 119 yards with two touchdowns this season. Rookie receiver Damaris Johnson is expected to start in his place against Arizona. He has two receptions for 23 yards this season.
