The Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars will meet in Indianapolis in a divisional showdown.
The Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars were expected by many to be bottom feeders in the AFC South but, after two weeks, the teams have shown signs that they may be better than projected. The Colts will enter Sunday's game with a 1-1 record after defeating the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 on a game-winning drive by quarterback Andrew Luck, and they'll likely be eying the Jags as easy prey en route to 2-1.
Jacksonville, meanwhile, has yet to win in 2012, and got blown out by the Houston Texans last week. But they had a victory snatched away by the Vikings in the final seconds of Week 1 in a game where quarterback Blaine Gabbert looked much improved from his rookie season. Gabbert, though, injured his glute in the loss to Houston, and his status for Sunday's game is unknown. If he's unable to go, Chad Henne will start in his place.
Both teams will look to establish the pecking order in the AFC South beneath the Texans on Sunday, and we should have a better idea heading into Week 4 which, if any team, is best suited to challenge Houston.
The game will kick off at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast by CBS. The Colts are currently favored by 3 points.
