The St. Louis Rams saw their offense stymied on Sunday, giving up six sacks and and a defensive touchdown in a 23-6 loss to the Chicago Bears. That knocked the Rams down to 1-2 and two games behind surprising Arizona in the NFC West, and Turf Show Times examines where it all went wrong:
"Mid-way through the fourth quarter, we really thought we were going to take the lead and go ahead," St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson admitted in his post-game comments. "Our defense did a fairly good job. We as an offense did not help them at all."
Overall, St. Louis managed just 160 yards and a pair of field goals on the day.
