The Minnesota Vikings picked up a 24-13 upset victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, thanks to a solid effort on both sides of the ball. SB Nation's Daily Norseman was particularly impressed by the performance of the defensive line:
Jared Allen was the only lineman that registered a sack, but [49ers quarterback] Alex Smith was harassed and hurried all afternoon. He never got really comfortable in the pocket, and that was due to the pressure from the Vikes front four. The stats may not reflect it, but they had a big hand in Sunday's victory.

The Vikings' defense registered three sacks in the game and limited San Francisco to 284 total yards of offense. They recovered two fumbles and also picked off an Alex Smith pass.
