Tennessee fans were expecting many wide open games this season, and that's exactly what they got on Sunday. The Titans racked up 437 yards of total offense, but they also gave up 583 to Detroit in the 44-41 overtime victory. It was the first win of the season for Tennessee.
Over at Music City Miracles, the fans were absolutely ecstatic after the win. Here's a quick highlight from the recap:
The Titan defense did well to hold the Lions' offense in check during the first half but collapsed in the second half where they gave up a ton of yards to Calvin Johnson and [Mikel] Leshoure. This is exactly the kind of football that I was expecting to see out of Tennessee at the beginning of the year, shootout style football.
Fans were also pretty thrilled with the second coming of the homerun throwback:
Tennessee will be in action again Sunday when it takes on the division leading Houston Texans. The Titans are currently 1-2 on the season, while the Texans sit at 3-0.
