NFL odds for Week 4: Packers heavy favorites over Saints, and more odds

Underdog bettors had their biggest payday in years in Week 3, as NFL underdogs hit at an 11-5 ATS clip.

And nine of those underdogs won straight up, meaning that dog bettors who were bolder and bet on the moneyline turned an even bigger profit.

And then the Monday Night referee fiasco in Seattle, giving Seahawks bettors a win when it belonged as a Packers cover, added more fuel to the betting fire.

That game, well-chronicled for its end-of-game touchdown that swung the score to a 14-12 Seattle win, potentially swung as much as half a billion dollars, prompting some online sportsbooks like Top Bet to offer money back to Green Bay bettors.

Week 4 opened with a few huge underdogs and a few other teams that have been absolute beasts as underdogs.

Cleveland and Tennessee each opened as 14-point underdogs at Baltimore and Houston respectively. And the Saints were 9-point underdogs at Green Bay, a shocking line considering both were considered NFC contenders. Instead, its a battle of 0-3 New Orleans and 1-2 Green Bay.

The Patriots are just 3.5-point favorites in Buffalo, a line that many have jumped on. And the Giants are 1-point underdogs at Philadelphia in a game where the underdog and road trends stack heavily in New York's favor.
