The Philadelphia Eagles open as two-point-favorites against the New York Giants as the two teams battle for NFC East supremacy.

The Philadelphia Eagles open as two-point-favorites as they prepare to host the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants on Sunday. The line now stands between one and two points depending upon which sportsbook you look at.

The Eagles have yet to cover a spread this season, despite their 2-1 overall record. Last week Philadelphia was a three-point-favorite, but lost the game outright 27-6 to the Arizona Cardinals. The Giants meanwhile, got their first cover of the season last week, covering as two-and-a-half-point-underdogs with a 36-7 win over the Carolina Panthers.

The story of the game will likely come down to if the Giants can move the ball in the air. The Giants come into the game with the second-highest ranked passing offense averaging 325.7 yards per game, but face an Eagles team that ranks third in passing defense, having only allowed 172.7 yards per game through the air.

The total for the game opened at 47 points. The Giants have scored the third most points in the league (31.3 per game), while the Eagles have scored the least (15.7 per game).
