After the Chargers opened as 3-point favorites for their game in Kansas City against the Chiefs on Monday night, the line has since moved to even.
The line for Monday's game between the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs started out with the Chiefs as three-point favorites, but has since moved to even, according to OddsShark.com.
The Chiefs are coming off of a surprising 27-24 victory on the road over the New Orleans Saints last Sunday. Meanwhile, the Chargers were routed at home by the Atlanta Falcons, 27-3.
When it comes to betting lines, conventional wisdom is that the home team usually gets three points by default. So, it came as a bit of a surprise that the Chargers were that significant of favorites following the team's - and in particular, quarterback Philip Rivers' -- performance in Week 3. Bettors clearly took notice, as the Chiefs were able to somewhat contain Drew Brees, who is widely considered as one of the league's best quarterbacks, in their victory.
The over/under opened at 46 and has since gone down a point, to 45.
