The Dallas Cowboys open as 3.5 point favorites at home against the Chicago Bears.
For the third week in a row, the Dallas Cowboys will open as a favorite of three points or more. The Cowboys ended up being a three point favorite on the road in week 2 and nine point favorites last week at home. Now preparing to play their second home of the year, the Cowboys opened as a 3.5 point favorite against the Chicago Bears, per Odds Shark.
The total points scored for the Monday showdown opened at a combined 45.0 points. Since then, however, various books have moved the down to anywhere from 42 to 41 points, hinting that there has been heavy action on the under as opposed ot the over.
While the Cowboys did score 24 points in their first game of the season, the Tony Romo led offense has posted scores of just 7 and 16 in the following weeks. Likewise, the Bears offense has also been up-and-down. Since scoring more than 40 points in their season opener at home, Chicago posted scores of 10 and 23 in the subsequent games.
