The Atlanta Falcons are a six-point favorite over the Carolina Panthers in their Week 4 matchup.
The Atlanta Falcons are arguably the best team in the NFL and are looking to improve their record to 4-0 when they go up against NFC South rivals the Carolina Panthers. The line has the Falcons as a six-point home favorite, and that seems about right.
The over/under on this line opened at 50 points, but that has since dropped a bit to 48½ points. That number seems what these two teams are capable of putting up Sunday. The Falcons are averaging 31.3 points per game, while the Panthers are only able to score 17.3.
That over/under could be blown up if Panthers quarterback Cam Newton can turn his play around and get their offense in gear. Newton has struggled to find the end zone this year as he has already thrown five interceptions to only two touchdowns.
As for the Falcons, they are clicking on all cylinders and are led by quarterback Matt Ryan, who is having a great year so far by completing 72 percent of his passes, and he has eight touchdowns to just one interception.
