Tampa Bay is a slim two-point favorite over Washington.
Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins are both getting desperate early in the season as each team is 1-2, and they both are riding a two-game losing streak. Whichever team loses is getting closer to the brink of not having a chance at making a playoff run, while the 2-2 team is at least back in the running.
The oddsmakers feel these two NFC teams are evenly matched and they place the Buccaneers as a two-point favorite, and they place the over/under at 47 points.
Neither of these teams defend the pass at all, as Tampa Bay is 31st while Washington is 32nd against the pass. That has to favor Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III who out throws Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman by 75 yards per game, and Washington has a solid running game which compliments their pass game.
Tampa Bay doesn't do anything all that great, so they will need to take advantage of that poor secondary that Washington fields if they are going be on the right side of victory on Sunday.
