Handicappers predict a big rebound in Week 4 for the 49ers. Laying just 4 points at the Jets, it's a tempting situation.
We predicted San Francisco would struggle in Week 3 in a perfect letdown spot at Minnesota.
This week, we predict a major rebound for the 49ers and a bad week for New York Jets bettors.
Two 2-1 teams collide this Sunday at Metlife Stadium when the Jets host the 49ers. And many are happily throwing money behind San Francisco as a 4-point road favorite.

"The betting trends do not favor the 49ers as they have struggled asa road favorite and struggled as a road team in general," said Jack Randall of OddsShark.com.
After going into Green Bay and beating the Packers and then following that up with a strong win over the Detroit Lions, many were calling the San Francisco 49ers the team to beat in the NFC. But after a 24-13 loss to Minnesota last week, NFL fans and bettors aren't sure what to think.
This is an extremely talented team on both offense and defense, and the Minnesota loss feels like a fluke, but this week's game will be very important in getting things back on track. [ Twitter updates on line moves and injuries ]
The New York Jets beat Miami last week to improve to 2-1 SU and ATS on the season, but that was about the only good news. For the second straight week, the offense looked lethargic with Mark Sanchez having another off day and the running game failing to get much going.
And more importantly, New York lost its start cornerback Darrelle Revis for the rest of the season with a torn ACL injury. A key cog in Rex Ryan's defensive scheme, Revis's absence will be a noticeable blow to the team's defense.
Though they don't play often, San Francisco has enjoyed historic success against New York with a 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS record over their last seven meetings.
Since the start of the 2011 season under coach Jim Harbaugh, San Francisco is 15-4 straight up and 13-5-1 ATS. The Jets on the other hand are just 8-9 SU and 6-11 ATS over their last 17 games. There is plenty at stake for both teams in this game with early divisional battles heating up, but San Francisco might be a little more desperate coming off of that disappointing loss.
And with Revis out and New York's offense struggling, San Francisco looks like the more well rounded team and should be able to win and cover this Sunday.
