The Cleveland Browns were one Brandon Weeden desperation heave away from tying up a game with one of the league's better teams, but they still fell 23-16 to their former incarnation, the Baltimore Ravens, and still have yet to pull out a win on the season.
Chris Pokorny of Browns blog Dawgs by Nature cut right to the chase when discussing his team's status as the league's last-place squad.
There is only one 0-4 team in the NFL, and that would be the Cleveland Browns.
Despite putting up a valiant effort in several of their games this season, especially Thursday night's comeback attempt against the Baltimore Ravens, the Browns can't always be "on the verge of winning" -- they need to pull out some of these victories.
The Browns have lost their four games by a combined margin of 25 points, or less than one touchdown per game. Even with most of the league yet to play their Week 4 game, four teams have worse net margins on the year. The 0-3 New Orleans Saints have the potential to join the Browns at 0-4, but for now they're all by themselves.
