The San Francisco 49ers are trying to get back in the win column against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
The 49ers are 2-1 but coming off of a surprising loss against the upstart Minnesota Vikings, who were able to score 24 points against Jim Harbaugh's vaunted defense. San Francisco was undone by a trio of turnovers and 146 rushing yards against, 86 of which courtesy of Adrian Peterson.
Rex Ryan's group is also 2-1 but rolls into Week 4 with some issues. Mark Sanchez is playing poorly the past few weeks after looking terrific against the Buffalo Bills in the season opener. Against the Miami Dolphins last weekend, Sanchez was only 21-of-45 for 306 yards while tossing a touchdown and two interceptions.
Of course the biggest concern is the torn ACL of Darrelle Revis, which has sidelined him for the remainder of the year. Without Revis, the Jets will need to scheme with some different looks in order to mask such a massive loss.
