The Redskins and Buccaneers try to snap two-game losing streaks after once promising starts to the season.
Both the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter Week 4 of the NFL season looking to break two-game losing streaks. The season got off to a promising start for both clubs, but each has sustained close losses in back-to-back weeks to fall to 1-2.
The Redskins are led by dynamic rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, who took some vicious shots in last week's loss to the Bengals. It was his home debut, but he put up decidedly unremarkable numbers in the first half and the 'Skins could never quite catch up. The Bucs offense was completely bottled up by the Cowboys, as third-year quarterback Josh Freeman struggled to move the ball. After two weeks out on the road in the NFC East, the Bucs return home to the scene of their only win.
Only a small sliver of the country will get the game, with most getting the Saints-Packers clash on FOX. Chris Myers and Tim Ryan, who have become well-acquainted with the Redskins early in the season, will have the call.
