Scott Rovak-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
Steven Jackson is active for Sunday's Week 4 matchup between the Rams and Seahawks. He may be forced to play a limited role as he recovers from a groin injury.
St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is active Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks in week 4, but Jason La Canfora reports that it could be in a reduced role. Jackson has been dealing with a groin injury this week, taking time off practice to rest the injury and it appears that is enough to get him the start. But is it enough to get Jackson over 10 carries against Seattle?
Fantasy Impact: When you add up the injury, the reduced role, and the number two run defense in the league, and Jackson is a very weak start in fantasy this week. Jackson had 105 yards on 35 carries in two games against the Seahawks in 2011 and he will probably give way to Daryl Richardson for at least a handful of snaps today. Try and find another option.
