Buffalo's defense left Gronk uncovered. It didn't take long for Tom Brady to find him.
There are two things Rob Gronkowski loves: Catching touchdown passes, and having an opportunity to spike the ball. On Sunday this ball from Tom Brady gave him a golden opportunity for both.
It has been an uncharacteristically difficult day for the Patriots' offense, but from this clip you wouldn't think it. If you're the Buffalo Bills how do you leave so much room for Brady to find Gronkowski? Not only did the pass rush have no pressure on the QB, but the secondary was woefully out of position to make a tackle on Gronkowski. In that situation the entire stadium knows Brady will look for Gronk, so why are the safeties playing such a soft zone regardless?
