The New York Giants are favored by 3.5 points heading into their season opener against Dallas.
Eli Manning and the New York Giants will begin their title defense on Wednesday evening at MetLife Stadium, as rivals Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys will travel to East Rutherford for a showdown to kick off the season.
OddsShark.com currently has the hometown Giants as favorites by 3.5 points, as Manning and company will aim for their sixth victory in seven chances against Romo's Cowboys. With a record of 1-6 over their last seven games against the spread dating back to last season, Dallas will surely make every effort to buck this unfortunate trend.
The current over/under line for the game is set at 45 points, which marks the exact same total the two teams scored in their previous meeting back on Jan. 1. Considering that each the last six games between these teams has totaled at least 45 points combined, it appears the over/under line could be an intriguing play here.
