The Eagles come into Week 1 as prohibitive favorites over the Browns on the road.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns will kick off the 2012-13 NFL season at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
The oddsmakers have installed Philadelphia as a heavy favorite, with oddshark.com listing Michael Vick and company as 9-point favorites.
The Eagles come into 2012 with a ton of expectations after being arguably the biggest disappointment in the NFL last season. After a dreadful start, Andy Reid's squad needed four consecutive wins at the end of the campaign just to finish with an 8-8 record.
Cleveland, on the other hand, faces another rebuilding year. This time, though, there appears to be some legitimate hope, thanks to the additions of rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden and running back Trent Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.
Philadelphia is by far the biggest favorite of any road team in Week 1. The Atlanta Falcons rank second in that category, heading into the weekend as slight, 2-1/2-point favorites over the Kansas City Chiefs.
