The Packers will host the 49ers Sunday with Green Bay currently listed as a 7-point favorite.
The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers were two of the best teams in the NFL last season and they will now face each other to begin the 2012 season.
The 49ers will travel to Lambeau field to face the Packers with Green Bay currently listed as a 7-point favorite by OddsShark.com. The Packers were 8-0 at home during the regular season last year, including 7-1 against the spread. The 49ers were an impressive 11-4-1 against the spread last season, but just 4-4 on the road.
In addition to being a dominant home team, Green Bay has also dominated the 49ers lately, winning nine of the last 10 meetings. San Francisco hasn't beaten the Packers since 1999. Green Bay is also 7-1-2 against the spread during over their last 10 games against San Francisco.
The Packers featured one of the NFL's best offenses in 2011 while San Francisco had one of the best defenses. The over/under is currently set at 45 points. The Packers exceeded the over in 11 of their 16 games last season.
