Expert picks for the Chargers and Raiders Week 1 matchup.
As the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders prepare for their Monday night matchup to start the season, NFL experts had a tough time coming up with a consensus when picking a winner.
Over at CBS Sports the experts were split, with five selecting the Bolts and the other four picking the Raiders. One pick for the Raiders came from the prediction machine.
Out of the 14 ESPN experts, eight of them are taking San Diego this week, while the other six see Oakland as the top dog.
Walter Football has the Raiders edging the Chargers by the score of 27-23, but notes that 62 percent of Las Vegas bets so far have been on San Diego.
