Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon was a full participant in practice Friday and will be ready to make the first start of his career Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Blackmon injured his ankle in practice on Wednesday, but wasn't bothered by the injury and has been able to practice without limitations over the past two days. This is great news for the Jaguars offense and quarterback Blaine Gabbert in particular, who became one of his favorite targets as the preaseason wore on. Blackmon caught 10 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown in the preseason this year.
Blackmon was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State. The two-time Biletnikoff Award Winner caught 121 balls for 1522 yards and 18 touchdowns in the high-powered Cowboys offense last year.
