Running back Marshawn Lynch will be listed as questionable for the Seattle Seahawks' Sunday opener against the Arizona Cardinals, according to Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times.
With the questionable tag, Lynch will be a game time decision as he continues to work through the back spasms that have been nagging him all throughout the preseason.
This is nothing new for Lynch, who missed a game last season from the same issue and has been plagued with back spasms since he was a California Golden Bear. If he isn't able to go, rookie Robert Turbin should carry most of the load with Leon Washington getting the occasional carry in relief.
Lynch, or "Beast Mode" as he was affectionately nicknamed thanks to his relentless style of play, ran for a career-high 1204 yards on 285 carries last season, racking up 12 touchdowns on the ground in the process.
