The Cleveland Browns will host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1 of the 2012 NFL season, with the Eagles looking to meet high expectations and the Browns looking to exceed low ones. Philadelphia is still looking to prove they're the "dream team," while the Browns are counting on two promising rookies, quarterback Brandon Weeden and running back Trent Richardson.

The Eagles finished the 2011 season 8-8, a disappointing result for everyone involved. Quarterback Michael Vick missed the last two preseason games with bruised ribs, but he told the team's official website that he feels 100% and is ready to go on Sunday. Philadelphia's offense should be able to put on a show; Vick has wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin as quality targets, and LeSean McCoy adds a strong rushing attack.

Cleveland's offense is significantly less of a sure thing. Weeden, a first-round pick, won the Browns' starting quarterback position over Colt McCoy. Richardson was the third overall pick and is crucial to the Browns' hopes for an improved offense, but after undergoing knee surgery in early August it's unclear how much he can contribute. Cleveland averaged 13.6 points per game in 2011, the third-worst total in the league.

Game Time: 1 p.m. ET

Television Coverage: FOX

Odds: Philadelphia favored by 9.5
