Stephen Hill Scores TD, Gets Huge Separation

Stay connected with SB Nation

Losing your man is the key to being an effective NFL receiver, and something the New York Jets have firmly lacked. One thing we knew about rookie Stephen Hill was that he had speed and size for days, and he showed that just a moment ago as Mark Sanchez recovered from a wholly bizarre shovel INT to freeze the safeties with a pump-fake, and deliver a strike to Hill.

New York now lead the Buffalo Bills 21-0, and maybe, just maybe Tony Sparano was right when he was telling us that there was more to the Jets' offense than we saw in preseason. Thus far they're not having any trouble moving the ball against a stout Bills' defense– amassing 123 total yards with just over a quarter played.
