Jake Locker Getting Comfortable In First NFL Start

Stay connected with SB Nation

Jake Locker had a season to, well, get seasoning behind Matt Hasselbeck. With a youth movement taking place in the NFL (none of that Old Man Football here), the Tennessee Titans decided it was time to let their Washington Husky fly.

Locker threw his first touchdown of the year to Nate Washington with 10:17 remaining in the third quarter. He's been fairly accurate, completing 20 of his 27 passes for 203 yards, but he does have one interception. The Titans are in a deep hole against Tom Brady and the Patriots, but at least the future looks bright out in Nashville.
