New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis left the game in the fourth quarter with a head injury.

The New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis left the game against the Bills with a head injury after accidentally getting kicked in the head by a teammate while attempting to tackle Bills running back C.J. Spiler.

It was one of the few dark spots on an otherwise great 48-28 season opening victory for the Jets.

Revis was injured in the fourth quarter while laying out to catch Spiller. He dove out on his stomach and Revis was accidentally kicked in the helmet while lying on the ground by teammate Bart Scott. Revis had five tackles and an interception before leaving the game.

The All-Pro cornerback remained on the field hold his helmet before he was attended to by trainers. Revis headed to the locker room with the Jets trainers and did not return.
